The chart below shows the home sales activity in the neighborhood for the month of August 2020 (and the preceding 12 months for comparison).
The final selling prices for the month of August ranged from a low of $290,000 at 77290 Michigan Drive to a high of $485,000 for at 77594 Missouri Drive.
Note that the number of homes sold is twice as many as this time last year, and the average sales price is up. Most notable difference this month: the number of homes selling at their original asking price or OVER their original asking price. Yes, we are seeing multiple offers in the desert!
The neighborhood is white hot (especially with a pool), and I’m not talking about the temperature. Buyers that can work full time from home, and no longer have to commute, are flocking to the desert from the expensive coastal towns with the well-paying technology jobs. The face of the desert dweller is changing before our eyes.
