Marin County and Southern Sonoma County Home Sales for April 2020

During the pandemic we are not holding broker tours or open houses. However, we are still selling through photography, video, descriptions and private tours of no more than two persons, and all parties sign off saying that they have no known symptoms and that they may be entering a home of an occupant who may or may not have the virus or symptoms. (It’s best to put your property on the market when vacant.)

I also ask that potential buyers and their agents provide proof of funds or preapproval for financing to tour my listings. No point in taking risks with people that are not qualified to buy.

Inventory is picking up nicely so I am hopeful that we will see volume getting back to usual levels. There are currently 308 active SFR listings in all of Marin County, whereas last month we only had 173. And 858 active SFR listings in all of Sonoma County, whereas last month there were 680.
