Marin County, CA Real Estate Market Conditions Update for March 2012

As of April 10, 2012 45% of available listings in Marin County were in escrow.

For the month of March 2012 231 homes sold in Marin County (70 of which were distress sales) for an average final selling price of $781,951.

The average original asking price of these homes was $858,517.

The range of final selling prices was from a low of $106,500 to a high of $5,400,000.

Of the 231 homes to sell 19 sold at their original asking prices and 48 sold over their original asking prices.

It took these homes an average of 134 days to sell.
