July 2010 Fun Things To Do Throughout The Bay Area, Marin County and The Wine Country

One of the many things that make the Bay Area such a great place to live is all the fun things to do here.  As you can see, July is jam-packed with fun.  Feel free to add any events that I missed in the comments section below this post.

July 1 – Downtown San Rafael Farmer’s Market and Festival on 4th Street from 6-9pm

July 1 thru 5 – Marin County Fair at the Marin County Fairgrounds next to the Civic Center in San Rafael

July 1 thru 4 – Napa County Fair at the Fairgrounds in Calistoga

July 2 – Jazz and Blues By The Bay at Gabrielson Park in Sausalito from 6:30-8:00pm

July 2 – Friday Nights on Main Street in downtown Tiburon

July 2 – Jazz at the Sand Dollar in Stinson Beach

July 2 thru 4 – MarinScapes Art Show and Sale at Escalle Winery in Larkspur

July 3 & 4 – Fillmore Jazz Festival on Fillmore Street between Jackson and Eddy in San Francisco

There’s lots to do on the 4th of July:

–         Bolinas and Stinson are having their annual Tug of War from 9-11am

–         Bolinas is having a parade which starts at 11am

–         Woodacre is having a parade and pancake breakfast at 8am

–         Inverness is having a parade and celebration from 9am until 1pm

–         Sausalito is having a parade, picnic and fireworks starting at noon

–         Corte Madera and Larkspur are having their annual parade and celebration from 9-5

–         Novato is having it’s annual parade and pancake breakfast

–         The town of Sonoma has an “Old Fashioned 4th of July including parade, festival, barbecue and fireworks all day into the night

–         Petaluma has a celebration at the Fairgrounds

–         And, well, so much more

July 6 – Clay Hawkins and Tiny Television are playing at Peri’s in Fairfax

July 7 – Fairfax Farmer’s Market and Festival at Bolinas Park from 4-8pm

July 8 – Downtown San Rafael Farmer’s Market and Festival on 4th Street from 6-9pm

July 9 – Jazz and Blues By The Bay at Gabrielson Park in Sausalito from 6:30-8:00pm

July 9 – Friday Nights on Main Street in downtown Tiburon

July 13 – Yes and Peter Frampton are playing at the Wells Fargo Center for The Arts in Santa Rosa

July 14 – Fairfax Farmer’s Market and Festival at Bolinas Park from 4-8pm

July 15 – Downtown San Rafael Farmer’s Market and Festival on 4th Street from 6-9pm

July 16 – Jazz and Blues By The Bay at Gabrielson Park in Sausalito from 6:30-8:00pm

July 16 – Friday Nights on Main Street in downtown Tiburon

July 16 – Ziggy Marley is playing at the Napa Valley Opera House

July 17 – San Anselmo Art and Wine Festival in downtown San Anselmo

July 17 – Far West Fest at Love Field in Point Reyes

July 17 – 10th Annual Fermenting Change a Benefit to Battle Breast Cancer at Herbst Pavilion in Fort Mason in San Francisco

July 17 & 18 – The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Novato

 July 20 – Lyle Lovett and His Large Band are playing at Wells Fargo Center for The Arts in Santa Rosa

July 21 – Fairfax Farmer’s Market and Festival at Bolinas Park from 4-8pm

July 22 – Downtown San Rafael Farmer’s Market and Festival on 4th Street from 6-9pm

July 23 – Jazz and Blues By The Bay at Gabrielson Park in Sausalito from 6:30-8:00pm

July 23 – Friday Nights on Main Street in downtown Tiburon

July 24 & 25 – 18th Annual Catalan Festival at Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards in Sonoma

July 27 through August 8 – Sonoma County Fair at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds

July 28 – Fairfax Farmer’s Market and Festival at Bolinas Park from 4-8pm

July 28 – REO Speedwagon is playing at Wells Fargo Center for The Arts in Santa Rosa

July 29 – Downtown San Rafael Farmer’s Market and Festival on 4th Street from 6-9pm

July 29 – Paula Poundstone is live at the Napa Valley Opera House

July 30 – Jazz and Blues By The Bay at Gabrielson Park in Sausalito from 6:30-8:00pm

 July 30 – Friday Nights on Main Street in downtown Tiburon
