Historical Average Sales Prices and Number of Homes Sold for Marin County from 1965 – present

As with my previous post about the town of Sonoma, June’s numbers have not been completely reported yet (as the month is not yet over) but I have time to do this right now so now is when it is getting posted.  This will get updated when I again have the time.

You will see that average sales price is down slightly this year from last year.  This number does take into account all the distress sales.  The number of homes being sold is far less than half of last year, which has been decreasing every year since the top of the market in 2004.
