For the month of May 2011 208 home sold in Marin County for an average final selling price of $964,650.
The average original asking price of these homes was $1,051,707.
The range of final selling prices was from a low of $106,000 to a high of $8,750,000.
Of the 208 homes that sold (57–or roughly 27.5%–of which were distress sales) 14 sold at their original asking prices and an impressive 32 sold for more than their original asking prices.
It took these homes an average of 94 days to sell.
