Marin County, CA Real Estate Market Conditions Update for October 2010

As of November 11, 2010 24% of available listings in Marvelous Marin County are in escrow.  It’s a Buyer’s Market in Marin County, so….  Come and get it!

For the month of October 2010 180 homes (43 of which were distress sales) sold in Marin County for an average final selling price of $853,910.

The average original asking price of these homes was $953,302.

The range of final selling prices was from a low of $150,000 (a condo in San Rafael) to a high of $7,140,000 (an estate in Belvedere).

It took these homes an average of 99 days to sell–although the reporting feature doesn’t show homes that have been withdrawn from the market for 30 days or more and then relisted.
