As the year winds down, so does the number of events in the Bay Area. However, the caliber of events this month more than makes up for the fewer numbers. Of course, as usual, this is just a sampling. October 2 – 7th Annual San Francisco LovEvolution Festival
October 2 – Light The Night Walk of the North Bay in Santa Rosa on 4th Street to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
October 2 & 3 – As part of the Italian Heritage Celebration, the Madonna del Luma Celebration
October 2 & 3 – San Francisco Bay Area Leukemia Cup Regatta at the San Francisco Yacht Club in Belvedere
October 3 – 34th Annual Bridge to Bridge Run Benefitting Special Olympics
October 5 – The Sonoma Valley Farmer’s Market on the Sonoma Plaza
October 7 – The Downtown San Rafael Farmer’s Market moves to the West End for October!
October 7 thru 12 – It’s Fleet Week in San Francisco! And the Blue Angels will be performing! There will also be a Parade of Ships! (click on the links for more detailed information)
October 8 – Cowboy Junkies are playing at the Napa Valley Opera House
October 9 – The Italian Heritage Grand Ball at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco
