As you can see in the charts below, the average monthly selling price varies widely depending upon what has sold in that particular month. What’s encouraging is the number of homes that are selling.
In April we saw more homes sell than in March, more in March than February… and more in 2010 than 2009 or 2008. I really think the “bottom” has passed and while we have been severely beaten, we are getting back up, dusting ourselves off, and beginning a painful recovery.
